Those were the days.... 2019-03-16

The Saturday Mar 16th afternoon tilly saw the Green&Gold of the Gators take on an historical rival.  The Federation

Federation ringer Szpak decided to take a game off from scoring his regular 1g/1a per game and took the pipes for some reason.  Bodog automatically changed the spread by a couple goals.

Ironman Travis Overton took the Gator net as Lowrey had family commitments and Hayes was doing some Boaty McBoatface thingies at a trade show.

The Gators had a record breaking 4 fans show up... thanks Mrs Taylor!

First period saw McRae successfully wear compression pants and thusly score a properly aimed goal, his 17th of the campaign.  Quick math puts that at a 0.02% shooting accuracy.  Landis decided to ruin our penalty free nacho coupon eligibility by taking a tripping penalty shortly thereafter and that was pretty much the first.

Second period saw the Federation throw a bunch more shots on Overton.  22 in total.  They got a little more sucessful on busting the Overton wall and struck for 2.  Soon to be newly minted day Kyle Buckley tied the game a few ticks later and the period ended 2-2.

Third saw a little tighter game take shape.  Abercrombie tallied in the first minute for the Gators to take the lead.  At the 8th min, the Federation clawed that back, only to have the dynamic St. Albrt duo of McNamara and Tremblay net the eventual game winner and go ahead goals.
