The Pee Wee B coaches would like to welcome all players to the to the NMHA Major Peewee B tryouts. The goal is to create two equally skilled teams to represent the NHMA for the 2017-2018 season. This will be done by assessing player skills and evaluating game play and various on ice scenarios.
The tryouts will align to Hockey Canada goals for the Peewee age category and will be evaluated by the two Major Peewee B coaches as well as independent evaluators for both players and goalies. As always, the NMHA will also have an independent evaluator to help guide the decisions and ensure balance between the two teams during the selection process.
Saturday, September 2nd
These sessions will involve the evaluation and grading of players core skills (skating, passing, puck handling and shooting) using various practice drills familiar to players.
